Lady Gaga and Her Dad Get Matching 'Joanne' Tattoos

Honoring Joanne! With the release of her fifth studio album, Joanne, this past week, Lady Gaga was looking for an even more permanent reminder of her aunt, whom the album is named after.

The Mother Monster got some fresh ink on her forearm, the name Joanne, written in her late aunt's handwriting.

"Got Joanne tattooed on my arm in her actual signature. My dad got one too. With an angel on his shoulder," Gaga captioned an Instagram of her new body art.
She also posted a video getting inked on Snapchat and showed her dad, Joe Germanotta, getting a matching tattoo on his shoulder.

Germanotta also showed off the new tat on his Twitter account, showing Joanne's signature with a small angel in the middle.

Gaga then went to a local Walmart where she picked up several copies of her new album as well as a DVD of American Horror Story: Hotel, which earned her a Golden Globe.

The GRAMMY winner has a lot of exciting projects on the horizon. On Tuesday, she's starring on The Late Late Show's Carpool Karaoke with James Corden.
