KZ Tandingan wows audience on "Singer 2018"
15 Feb – Philippine's own KZ Tandingan proves that she is a force to be reckoned with after taking up the top spot in the latest episode of China's singing competition, "Singer 2018".
As reported on Inquirer, the singer, who came into the competition as a challenger in the fourth episode of the hit Hunan TV show, successfully took British singer Jessie J.'s place after performing an electrifying rendition of Adele's "Rolling in the Deep", complete with a Filipino rap.
Jessie J. had won first place for two weeks in a row prior to Tandingan's appearance, but even the British pop star was mesmerised by the performance, and applauded Tandingan for her vocal prowess.
Tandingan will return to the show next week to defend her spot.
