Kylie Padilla will not rush into marriage
26 May - Although the two of them are expecting a baby together, Kylie Padilla said that she doesn't think that she should be rushing into marriage with fiancé, Aljur Abrenica.
As reported on PEP, the actress, who is expecting a baby boy with the actor, shared that - unlike her father, Robin Padilla, who hopes that the baby will not be born out of wedlock - she would prefer taking things in small steps.
Said the younger Padilla, "For me, and this is just me, I don't want to rush into marriage just because I am having a kid. I don't want the intentions to be in the wrong place."
"So, okay, we're engaged. But let's not rush. Let's do it one by one," she added.
The actress also expressed her wish to get married when her son is old enough to be a part of the wedding; probably as the ring bearer.
"Maybe one year after, when we're settled with the baby and everything's okay, let's get married after," she said.
However, Padilla stressed that she understands her father's point of view, adding that the actor has always been overprotective of his children.
