Kwok Fung makes first appearance at wife's funeral

2 Aug - Hong Kong actor Samuel Kwok Fung, who caused concern among celebrity friends after his MIA since the death of his wife, Susanna Au Yeung, recently made his appearance at her funeral.

As reported on Mingpao, the veteran star who was deeply affected by his wife's death, looked haggard as he sat with Susanna's adopted son in the funeral hall, staring at the actress' photo from time to time and wiping off his tears.

Other celebrity friends who came to pay respect and bid their farewell include David Chiang, Damian Lau, Suet Nei, and Michael Miu.

Actor Felix Lok, who stayed for an hour at the funeral, admitted that Kwok is still affected by his wife's passing.

"I hugged him and didn't say anything so that he would calm down," he said.

On the other hand, adopted son Jiahui shared that he will accompany Kwok Fung and help with all the family matters to ease the actor's pain.

Susanna, most popular for her role in the 1983's "Return of the Condor Heroes" was diagnosed with adenocarcinoma of the lung back in April after a surgery. She passed away last month while in treatment for her condition.

She was 63.
