Kristal Tin says everything is fine between her and TVB

27 Aug – TVB actress Kristal Tin has assured that everything is fine between her and TVB, and that she hasn't been temporarily banned by the company as previously speculated.

As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who recently appeared at the press conference of her new drama, "Girlie Days", clarified rumours that she has been frozen by the company – due to the fact that she wasn't seen promoting the drama in the first week of its airing.

Kristal explained that she had been busy with other projects, adding, "I had been focusing on preparing for the concert that will be held next month. I will promote the series again in the middle of September."

Kristal also stated that the top management hasn't called her in or reminded her to be careful of her words on social media.

As to whether TVB has reduced her workload, the actress said that she has already made arrangements to take a break from work after her concert and has no work planned afterwards.

Rumours of Kristal's trouble with TVB sparked following the actress' recent social media post, in which she mocked Hong Kong's Chief Executive Carrie Lam for her earlier press conference to address the anti-extradition bill protest.

Speaking about the post, the actress said that she saw no issue with it.

"I watched the press conference, and suddenly I felt like commenting on it. It was just a natural reaction. It's not a political issue," she said.
