Kris Bernal has yet to decide on wedding date
31 Dec – Kris Bernal recently revealed that she and fiancé Perry Choi has yet to decide on the date of their wedding.
As reported on PEP, the actress, who was asked about their upcoming nuptials, stated that they have tentatively choosen either May 2021 or the last quarter of the year for the reception, though the emphasis will be more on their future married life than the wedding itself.
"Before the pandemic, I wanted a fancy wedding. I wanted something expensive, for my gown to be beautiful. But the quarantine has taught me to want something simple. Just us," she said, adding that the pandemic has put things into perspective.
Bernal also stated that it was Choi who suggested that they delay the wedding as she had just made a change in career, moving from GMA to Cornerstone Entertainment.
"Perry told me, 'Since you are starting again, focus on your career first, on our house, on the business'. Because it has also been difficult for the businesses. It's not always sunshine and rainbows because of the pandemic," she said.
As for the said house, Bernal said that they will begin building their new home in January, and stressed that they will still get married even if the construction has not been completed.
