Kris Aquino shares photo of swollen face after wrong medication
28 May – Kris Aquino recently reminded her social media followers not to make the same mistake as she had, after she experienced a serious allergic reaction over taking the wrong medication.
The actress posted a photo of her swollen face on Instagram, saying in jest that it looked like she had been punched by professional wrestler Ronda Rousey.
"Last Sunday, I drank the wrong pain reliever for my migraine- the result? Super bad allergic reaction [and] 5 days before swelling finally subsided. Please [remember] - let what happened to me be the warning," she wrote.
In the same post, she also shared a photo of her bandaged left hand, saying that she sustained an injury after attempting to adjust an electric fan.
"I was adjusting the electric fan stand to lower it. Never would I have expected that the whole fan could just suddenly fall down and get stuck - OUCH. Since it's not really possible for me to take pain relievers and anti-inflammatory meds, I'm using helichrysum essential oil. Nurse Mona made a splint because it's difficult to straighten my hand," she added.
