Kris Aquino didn't get the role in an American TV series
21 Nov – After getting fans excited about seeing her in another Hollywood project, Kris Aquino recently revealed that she didn't get the role in the American TV series that she previously auditioned for.
The actress shared several shots of her face on Instagram, and revealed that her agent Chris Lee relayed to her the bad news - that the role has been given to an Asian American actress.
However, Aquino stated that she is not too saddened by the loss as the character calls for a "sassy, sarcastic, sexy bartender".
"I don't drink alcohol at all because of my hypertension, anti-anxiety, multivitamin, vitamin D and iron supplement, and most importantly the 4 different antihistamines taken as daily maintenance," she explained.
However, the actress admitted that should she had won the role, she would have been ready to take a crash course on mixology.
"It was FUN to try though," she added.
