Kojitsu Kitchen takes being hidden to a whole new level. In a quiet nook of Taman United, hidden behind an archway of greenery, this Japanese restaurant is known for being affordable yet offering a private dining experience of sorts.
Its cosy interior combines aesthetics and comfort to create a top-notch dining experience. The restaurant only opens on weekdays and requires patrons to make a reservation before dining.
Kojitsu Kitchen, which opened in 2022, offers a unique blend of Japanese cuisine and local flavors. Customers have raved about some of the chef’s recommended dishes on their Google reviews, with grilled saba mackerel with coconut rice and toppings, crispy grilled chicken and their signature mochi being widely applauded.
As the dishes are subject to the ingredient availability, make sure you check with the chef before you make your reservation.
The dining experience follows an omakase style, where the chef curates a personalised menu. Reviews added that everything they tasted was excellent, with the braised pork rice being a standout dish.
