Kith has announced today the opening of its Toronto flagship store, marking its entrance into the Canadian market. The new outpost will Kith’s 13th dedicated store — not counting it presence in department stores such as Bergdorf Goodman and Selfridges — in a total of four countries.
Kith Toronto opens Friday, Sept. 22. In addition to selling footwear and apparel from in-house and a curation of other brands, the store will also host a Kith Treats ice cream counter and a Sadelle’s restaurant. Founder Ronnie Fieg designed the two-story space to match both the aesthetics of other Kith locations and the city in which it now has a presence. Materials include Venetian plaster, Alba Chiara marble, Verias green marble, Rosa Aurora stone, and vegan leather wallpaper.

The first floor is dedicated to both apparel and accessories for men and women. The second floor then hosts footwear, an “exclusive” Kith Kids space, Kith Treats, and Sadelle’s.
To coincide with the release, Kith and New Balance have created two red and white 1700 colorways inspired by Toronto. One version will release exclusively at the Toronto store Friday, Sept. 22, with a wider release for both sneakers to follow Monday, Sept. 25.
Kith’s domestic retail presence already includes multiple locations in each of New York City, Miami, and Los Angeles in addition to one-offs in Aspen, Colo. and Honolulu. Paris and Tokyo also have their own dedicated Kith stores, while Fieg and Co. maintain a space at Selfridges in London as well.
The Toronto store is located at 78 Yorkville Ave. Its hours are 11 a.m to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.
