Kirsten Dunst Does Old Hollywood Glamour in Embellished Peep-Toe Shoes at ‘Civil War’ Premiere
Kirsten Dunst stepped out in sleek black peep-toe pumps for the Los Angeles premiere of A24’s “Civil War” at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures on Tuesday. Her heels featured a beaded detail, channeling old Hollywood glamour.
Dunst was accompanied by her husband and “Civil War” co-star Jesse Plemons, who wore black dress shoes.

On the red carpet, the “Bring It On” actor often changes up her shoe style to compliment her elegant dresses. At the film’s London premiere on March 26, the actor wore black open-toed sandals. At the 2024 Oscars on March 10, silver strappy heels poked out from her white gown. She also wore silver strappy heels from Gucci at the 2023 LACMA Art+Film Gala.
Dunst and Plemons also walked the carpet with fellow co-stars Cailee Spaeny, Wagner Moura and Stephen McKinley Henderson. They play journalists documenting a civil war that breaks out in a dystopian, divided United States led by a president portrayed by Nick Offerman. “Civil War” will be released on April 12.

Dunst has been acting since she was a child—she was only 11 in “Interview With The Vampire”—and has arguably been a fashion It-girl ever since. She has worked with stylist duo Nina & Clare for over a decade. In recent years on the red carpet, she has worn pointed-toe pumps and strappy heels. She’s not afraid of bringing the playful details to her footwear as well, such as bow-topped heels and red-silk mules.
