Kimberly Chuah misses CNY for the third time

13 Feb - Kimberly Chuah recently revealed that it is now the third year that she was unable to celebrate Chinese New Year with her family due to work obligation.

The actress, who is also the third-place winner of Dewi Remaja 2022, shared that while she is saddened by that fact especially since she is the only daughter in the family, she is thankful that her family understood her situation.

"Two years ago, I was busy filming, while last year, I was away in Perlis for another shoot as well. And this year, I have to shoot the new series, 'Project: Exit'. But I am thankful to my mum for understanding and being supportive of me since I made my debut," she said.

Kimberly added with a laugh that while she loses on getting red packets, at least she gets paid for her work.

Asked what she would usually do on a Lunar New Year, the actress said that she will gather round with her family members and ask each other's updates, which is something that they rarely get to do on normal days.

In "Project: Exit", Kimberly plays the role of Amy, a resident of a rehabilitation centre. The drama also co-stars Naim Daniel, Mierul Aiman, Nabila Huda and many more.
