This Kim Kardashian-Approved Nike Air Max Sneaker Is Coming Back This Spring
A Nike Air Max colorway which went under the radar following its initial 2020 launch but has since become valuable on the resale market is set to return this year.
Multiple sources have confirmed a forthcoming return of the Nike Air Max 95 “Pink Foam.” Using the sneaker’s classic human anatomy-inspired grayscale design, this subtle “Pink Foam” iteration uses a soft pink shade on the lace loops, branding and visible Nike Air units. The iconic color blocking is the same as what’s found on many of the sneaker’s most significant original colorways including the “Neon,” which is also due for a relaunch in 2025.

The “Pink Foam” Nike Air Max 95 gained some wider visibility in January 2022 when Kim Kardashian took to Instagram to show off a workout outfit which included the sneakers. By then, the “Pink Foam” pair had already dried up at retail stores and was slowly increasing in resale value, but the Kardashian co-sign gave the style an extra boost. Originally retailing at $180, the pair resells for an average of around $415 today.
As it reaches its 30th anniversary in ’25, the Air Max 95 is positioned to receive extra attention from Nike. The brand confirmed in its latest SNKRS Showcase preview that the aforementioned original “Neon” colorway will return with details that closely match the original 1995 version including enlarged Air bubbles. Also expected is a skateboarding-inspired Nike SB version of the retro running shoe and another colorway of Corteiz’s popular collaboration, this time in “Tour Yellow.”
According to the early information, the Nike Air Max 95 “Pink Foam” will be released in women’s sizing, retailing once again for $180 with an expected drop in April. The sneaker has a full colorway of “Black/Pink Foam/White/Reflective Silver” and a style code of HJ5996-001. Readers can find a detailed look at the ’20 iteration of the sneaker below.
