Kim Jong-hyeon confirms military enlistment

20 Aug - Kim Jong-hyeon recently announced that he will be enlisting in the military next month.

As reported on Dispatch, the former NU'EST member shared this piece of news in a live stream with his fans, saying that he purposely held the live session to tell his fans in person about his military enlistment.

"The most important thing is to not get hurt, stay healthy and come back safe. They say time flies. Have fun," he added.

His agency, Evermore Entertainment also confirmed the news on 19 August, saying, "Kim Jong-hyeon will be enlisting in the active-duty army on 23 September to fulfil his military service."

The singer, known to fans as JR, will be holding a solo fan meeting on 31 August in Seoul.
