Khalil Fong denies retiring from music
20 Oct - Khalil Fong recently clarified rumours that he is soon to quit the music industry, saying that it was just a misunderstanding.
As reported on Mingpao News, the singer, who performed at his concert recently, stated that a lot of people thought he was thinking about retiring from music after he stated that "JTW Journey to the West" would be his last original album.
"The reports were exaggerated. What I mean is I will do different forms of music and help cultivate new singers," said Khalil.
The singer stressed that he will continue to make music, although he will be more focused on producing and all behind-the-scene work rather than performing himself.
When asked if he would be releasing his own album in the future, Khalil said, "I'm not sure. I've a lot of ideas now. A year and a half ago, my friend and I have started writing a script for a musical film."
