Khairul Aming meets New Zealand PM in KL

3 Sep - It started with a one-minute cooking video and now content creator and entrepreneur Khairul Aming gets to sit with New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon.

Luxon, who arrived in Malaysia on 2 September as part of his official visit to the country, met with the social media influencer at Hidang, KL, as a way for him to thank Khairul for making his cooking video while in New Zealand earlier.

"I took the opportunity to introduce him to a Malaysian breakfast while exchanging opinion about tourism exchange between Malaysia and New Zealand, trade exports of halal meat and dairy, nature preservation and the potential of local SME products to New Zealand," said Khairul, who also has a sambal business.

The beloved creator also made roti jala specially for Luxon during the meeting.

"Eight years ago, I filmed my first cooking video while sitting on the floor. Today, I have the privilege of sitting next to the Prime Minister of a renowned nation. Keep hustling, you'll be amazed at where life can take you," he added.
