Khadijah Ibrahim assures her safety following car collision
1 Oct - Khadijah Ibrahim recently assured that she is fine following the car accident that occurred in Beaufort, Sabah on 30 September.
The 64-year-old singer, who was previously reported to be one of the people involved in the accident, told the media that she sustained no serious injuries except for minor shoulder and neck pain.
"Everybody in the car is safe and there are no major issues," she said, adding that she is going to undergo a medical examination to ensure everything is as fine as she felt.
Speaking about the accident, Khadijah stated that it was the other vehicle that made the mistake of coming into their lane while her Toyota Hilux 4WD was on the way from Brunei to Kota Kinabalu.
"The other car didn't realise that they have entered our lane. That's when the collision happened. We have already settled it peacefully and I sympathise with the driver, who wasn't feeling well at the time," she said.
Meanwhile, the singer assured that she will continue her work as usual, and will be promoting the Amal Legends Concert at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) on 1 November.
