Keri Russell Praises Jil Sander in Ethereal White Dress at Golden Globes 2024
Keri Russell arrived on the red carpet for the 2023 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday in Los Angeles, wearing a sleeveless white gown with a fringe skirt, a white feather bag and a statement necklace — all from Jil Sander. Russell finished accessorizing her look with jewelry from Jacob & Co., including diamond earrings and diamond rings.
The actress’ look was from Jil Sander’s spring 2024 collection designed by Luke and Lucie Meier, which WWD characterized as one with couture-borderline-monastic allure with a solemnity that demanded attention, while still allowing room for delicacy and a charming sense of movement.

“I hardly ever go to fashion shows, but I went to Jil Sander’s spring 2024 show,” Russell said to WWD. “Luke and Lucie Meier [creative directors of Jil Sander] are just rad. They are so authentic and cool. I love the vibe of what they do, and it doesn’t feel too fussy, which is what I really like.”
Russell was nominated at this year’s Golden Globe Awards for Best Actress in a Television Series – Drama for her role in Netflix’s “The Diplomat.” The award ultimately went to Sarah Snook for “Succession.”
Russell often takes a minimalist approach to color, but gravitates towards statement shapes. In 2017, when she secured her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, the actress donned a gray and white striped off-the-shoulder top and wide-leg trousers by designer Johanna Ortiz. At the 2023 premiere of her film “Cocaine Bear,” the actress wore an all-black ensemble, with a sleek black gown with a scoop neckline and a thigh-high side slit, plus an oversize black blazer and black, strappy heels.
The 81st annual Golden Globe Awards, held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles, celebrated the biggest achievements across film and television in 2023. It is produced by Dick Clark Productions, which is owned by WWD parent company Penske Media Corp.
