Kep1er to return with new album

9 Oct - Girl group Kep1er is set to make their comeback, five months after their last performance, this time as a seven-member group.

As reported on FN News, the news was announced by the group's agency, WAKEONE, saying that the girls will be releasing a new album on 1 November, their first album since "Kep1going On" in June.

"Kep1going On" was the last album in which they promoted with all nine members. Mashiro and Kang Ye-seo left the group after their Japanese concert in July.

Kep1er is the first Mnet project group to successfully renew their contract and will continue promotions as a seven-member group in the future.

The group was formed by CJ ENM through the Mnet reality competition show "Girls Planet 999" in 2021. The group currently has members Kim Chae-hyun, Huening Bahiyyih, Choi Yu-jin, Kim Da-yeon, Seo Young-eun, Ezaki Hikaru, and Shen Xiaoting.
