Kent Tong prefers working in mainland China

24 Jan – He may have been one of the Five Tiger Generals of TVB in the past, but according to Kent Tong, he is more comfortable working in mainland China nowadays.

As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who co-stars in the new Hong Kong drama, "I Bet Your Pardon", smiled when asked if he would return to TVB, saying that the company already has one of its former "Tiger Generals" Michael Miu and should not need him.

"I don't need to make that much money now. The children have grown up, and I just want a low-key and simple life. Even Felix Wong is only doing commercial shows now," he said.

Prior to the said drama, Kent was last seen on TVB in "My Dearly Sinful Mind" in a guest role. He also played the role of Jin Shangwen in the Shaw Brothers' drama, "Guardian Angel".
