Kenny Wong denies cheating on wife with ex-girlfriend

13 Apr – Kenny Wong has recently dismissed rumours that he is cheating on his wife with another woman.

As reported on Mingpao, the issue sparked in mid January, after the former TVB actor was spotted in Sai Kung, walking a dog alongside a woman who was not his wife.

According to sources, Kenny was seen driving his wife to Tsim Sha Tsui to work and thereafter, went to a radio station to be interviewed. However, instead of returning home afterwards, he drove to a village house in Sai Kung to pick up a woman and her dog.

The woman was later identified as Ivy, who was also Kenny's former girlfriend prior to his relationship and subsequent marriage to wife Joyce Wong. The two were rumoured to have gone out together four times in the past two months.

Making matters worse was Joyce herself, who claimed to have not known the woman when reporters showed the picture to her, thinking that they were playing tricks on her. However, she stressed that her marriage with Kenny is fine.

In response to the media following the report, Kenny confirmed that it was Ivy in the said photo and that he hired her as his manager following his departure from TVB. He added that his wife knew about it, though she had never met Ivy.

"Due to the pandemic situation, I would travel to Sai Kung to discuss work matters with her. Sometimes we would take the dog out for a walk while we discuss things. It's been a long time since we broke up. We decided to work together since we know each other well," he said.

Kenny stated that while his wife was unperturbed by the rumours, he would prefer if the media not follow her around asking such questions as she is not a part of the showbiz industry.
