Kenny Bee had to request for daughter to perform at concert
15 Aug – Hong Kong singer Kenny Bee recently announced that he will be holding a concert at the Hong Kong Coliseum this coming November.
As reported on Mingpao, the singer who appeared at the press conference announcing the event, shared that among his guest artistes include fellow members of The Wynners and his own daughter, Blythe (Zhong Yi).
When asked if Blythe is excited about performing at his concert, Kenny laughed and said, "She's a bit different than before. In the past, she would beg me to let her perform. Now I have to ask her to sing. She really is a teenager now. I don't know what she is thinking."
However, this is not to say that the singer is not proud of his daughter, recently sharing a clip from Blythe's Commercial Radio performance on Instagram. The clip shows Blythe singing Elle King's "Ex's & Oh's" with a ukulele.
The 14-year-old is no stranger to the limelight. She has made several appearances on variety shows and concerts with Kenny since she was little, including the "Kenny Bee Premier Live 08" concert.
On the other hand, Kenny revealed that he will also sing several classics by Leslie Cheung, Anita Mui and Danny Chan at the upcoming concert aside from songs from his own album.
