Kenneth Ma, Jacqueline Wong support each other for TVB awards
12 Dec – He has no confidence at all in winning TV King this year, but Kenneth Ma recently admitted that his vote for TV Queen belongs to rumoured girlfriend Jacqueline Wong, who is nominated for her role in "Provocateur".
As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who was asked about the actress' first nomination in the Best Actress category, shared that he will definitely support Jacqueline to win the award, despite the tough competition.
"I will, I must support her. I hope everyone would vote for Jacqueline Wong," he said.
However, at the same time, Kenneth acknowledged the fact that the actress is still considered a newcomer, and that being nominated is encouragement enough for her.
"There is no need for her to feel pressured about it. Plus, you need luck too when it comes to winning awards," he added.
Meanwhile, Jacqueline, who admitted to be surprised by the nomination, said that she doesn't have any confidence about winning at all.
"I am very surprised, but also very happy to be nominated," she added.
When mentioned that Kenneth will vote for her, she responded, "There's no need for that. But I will vote for him [as TV King]. He has a bigger chance at winning than I am," she said.
