Kenneth Ma: Jacqueline Wong is still my friend
9 Jul – TVB actor Kenneth Ma is finally coming clean about the current status between him and Jacqueline Wong, saying that they are "friends".
As reported on On CC, the actor, who has never made any comments about their relationship status since the actress cheated on him with singer Andy Hui back in April, told the media that the two of them will continue to be friends no matter what happens.
"We are still friends. There is no need for us [to change that]. I just thought that other people's reaction towards this issue is a bit excessive," he said.
Kenneth stated that there is no need for anyone to attack Jacqueline, as the actress herself knew what she did wrong.
Asked if he has forgiven her, the actor admitted that there was a point during the whole scandal that he was angry about everything.
"But it was only for a short time. I became more concerned about her afterwards. I hope everybody would give her a chance," he said.
As to whether he has any qualms working with Jacqueline in the future, Kenneth, who has worked with the actress in the period drama "Deep in the Realm of Conscience", said that he wouldn't mind at all.
"It's not like she is an enemy. There is no need to magnify our relationship to such an extent," he said.
