Kenneth Ma on CNY celebration: Not much change after marriage

13 Feb - Celebrating Lunar New Year for the first time as a married man, Kenneth Ma recently revealed that there isn't much difference to the celebration compared to previous years.

As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who sat down with fellow TVB Anniversary Awards winners and "Prism Breakers" co-stars Moses Chan and Bosco Wong, shared that even before he became a husband, he has his own duties assigned to him when it comes to the Lunar New Year celebration.

"I am assigned with getting stuff at the market. But I also helped clean the house in accordance to the traditional Chinese customs," he said.

Asked if family and relatives have asked him and wife Roxanne Tong about their baby plans, Kenneth laughed and said that he is already used to questions like that.

"When we first announced our relationship, people urged us to get married. When we announced our marriage, people urged us to have a baby. It is okay to pursue a dragon baby? There is no pressure. We'll just go with the flow," he said.

For the time being, said Kenneth, he will focus on working hard to earn more money for children to come.

"My biggest gain [last year] was getting married and finding a good wife. My New Year's wish is as always, for everyone to be healthy and for the whole family to be together," he added.
