Kenneth Ma clarifies movie date with Jacqueline Wong
20 Feb - Kenneth Ma has shrugged off rumours of romance with Jacqueline Wong, after it was refueled by their recent trip to the movies.
As reported on Mingpao, the two stars, who previously denied dating each other, was recently spotted together at a shopping mall in Taikoo Shing. While they didn't seem to act chummy towards each other, both Kenneth and Jacqueline seemed to have made an effort to keep their presence unnoticeable by wearing dark clothes.
When the media congratulated him recently, Kenneth responded, "What is there to congratulate? It was just an ordinary social activity. Thank you for your concern."
Kenneth stated that it is normal for him to ask his friends out, and that he was surprised why his latest movie outing suddenly made the news.
Jacqueline previously stated that she has no qualms dating someone like Kenneth.
When asked if there is a chance for the two to develop their relationship further, Kenneth said, "I'm not sure if she really said that. But we have no new drama together. I won't rule out going out to movies and having a meal together."
