Kelly Fu launches hairband brand Faa
23 Jul – It started as just a hobby, but now model-actress Kelly Fu has launched her own handmade accessories business.
As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who appeared at the launch of Faa, her "exclusive handmade jewel goddess hairbands" as it was described on the invites, shared that she was happy to be able to turn her small talent into a real business.
"Hairbands are just a thing I like to make, but a lot of my friends and other artistes were very supportive and expressed interest in it. So I decided to turn this hobby into a business instead," she said.
Kelly revealed that she invested a six-digit sum into the business, and that all of the hairbands are made by her with materials that are imported from all over the world.
When asked which celebrities have already purchased her headbands, Kelly named actresses Grace Chan, Myolie Wu, Tracy Chu, and Kitty Yuen.
As to whether she will make one for Grace Chan when the actress gets married, the actress said that the one Grace bought is already suitable for such occasion.
