Kelly Clarkson helped this couple get engaged, and the pictures are adorable
She might be known for her breakup banger “Since U Been Gone,” but that hasn’t stopped Kelly Clarkson from helping a couple get engaged, and the pictures and video will truly make you believe in love.
We’ll be honest, we love it when celebrities help people’s engagements become just that extra special. From Jennifer Lopez helping her dancer pop the question, Kylie Jenner assisting her assistant, or Kesha using the most magical place in the world, Disney World, to help these two lovebirds get engaged, it’s always a delight to see people professing their love for each other.
That’s why we can’t get enough of Kelly Clarkson helping two fans become engaged during a recent meet-and-greet.

While in Las Vegas, Clarkson and Alex Malerba worked together to surprise Malerba’s partner, Justin, with a proposal right after having their photo take with the star.
After their first snap with the singer, Malerba gets down on one knee and proposes to his partner. Obviously, tears ensue.
“Oh my god, I’m so happy,” Clarkson says in the accompanying video. “I’m like a part of it. That was so beautiful. Congratulations!”
The singer then went in for a big hug with the couple. Awww! They then took another photo to celebrate the moment.
Malerba shared the moment on Instagram, including the before and after pictures.
“Asking the love of my life to marry me in front of the one and only @kellyclarkson was an amazing moment!!!!” he wrote, before adding: “HE SAID YES.”

Our favorite bit from the whole thing (apart from the sharing of love, obvs), is Clarkson showcasing some of her typical humor when she learned that the couple had been together for over four years.
“Damn,” she joked. “It’s about damn time somebody did. I’m like, ‘Shit or get off the pot.’”
Awww, well if that isn’t just the sweetest moment. Also, we’re *so* Kelly Clarkson in that situation. We, too, would just be so happy to be a part of it, and be shouting how happy we were for the happy couple.
Here’s to Alex and Justin, though. We wish them all the happiness in the world.
