Kelly Chen delays concert plans for more time with sons

5 Jun – Hong Kong singer-actress Kelly Chen recently revealed that she has decided to postpone her concert plans to focus more on her two sons for the time being.

As reported on Mingpao, the singer who attended a radio interview to promote her new song, "I'll Stand by You", shared that she already missed son Riley's graduation when she had to fly to mainland China to promote her song.

"I had to rely on their father to take photos and videos from the event. Of course, I wanted to go. But it doesn't matter. It's enough that his brother Chace is there as well. His brother is the ultimate idol in Riley's eyes. I only rank second," she said.

Because of that, Kelly decided to take a time off to go on a summer trip with her two sons and postpone planning her upcoming concert.

"It will only be done after they start school," she said.

On the other hand, when asked if her two sons are interested in her career as an artiste, Kelly revealed that both Chace and Riley have heard her songs, but walked away after a while.

"They're not very interested. They prefer watching cartoons instead," she added.
