Kazuya Kamenashi to star in "Kidnapping Game"

23 Feb – Kazuya Kamenashi will be seen next in the WOWOW drama series, "Kidnapping Game", which is set to be aired in June.

As reported on Eiga, the actor will play the lead role in the series adapted from Keigo Higashino's novel of the same name, which revolves around an ad agency worker who finds out that the tables have been turned against him after agreeing to a fake kidnapping game as a way to seek revenge against a client.

Speaking about the series, Kazuya said that he was hooked as soon as he read the script.

"To be honest, I was under a lot of pressure as to how we would be able to turn this into a series, but the staff and I worked together to finish filming. I haven't seen the finished work yet, but I hope you'll be captivated by the unique characters that appear and the entertaining mystery," he said.
