Kayi Cheung announces second pregnancy
12 Nov – Hong Kong actress Kayi Cheung recently revealed that she is pregnant with her second child.
As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who attended TVB's November stars' birthday event recently, told the media that being a mother is the best birthday gift for her.
"I have always wanted to have two kids before turning 35, so I am happy that my wish has been fulfilled," she said.
When asked about the gender of her baby, Kayi said that they haven't checked yet but that she is looking forward to do so soon.
"There are four girls in my family. I would love to have another girl so that my daughter will have a sister for a companion. My husband doesn't mind whether it's a girl or a boy," she said.
The "K9 Cop" actress also admitted the first three months of her pregnancy has been hard.
"I just wanted to lie in bed. It was so uncomfortable and I was nauseous all the time. To top it off, I also had to take care of my two-year-old daughter," she said.
When asked if she plans to quit showbiz after the birth of her second child, Kayi said that she is unsure of her future plans.
"I don't know what to expect after giving birth to the second child," she said.
