Kay Tse's comeback is earlier than planned

11 Dec – Hong Kong singer Kay Tse recently made her first public appearance since giving birth to daughter Karina in March this year, and admitted that she didn't think she would be back in the limelight this early after childbirth.

As reported on Mingpao, the singer, who appeared at a mall's Christmas event recently, shared that she originally planned to release her comeback song sometime between the mid to late 2018, but that the media broke the news of her return earlier than she expected.

"Since then, I have been receiving a lot of work offers. I will consider those that I think are suitable," she said.

Kay said that when news of her comeback made it into the tabloids, she was still not prepared.

"To think that I still had my pregnancy weight a month and a half ago! But after receiving a lot of these offers, I immediately started shaping up. Thanks to exercise and diet, I am 10 to 20 pounds lighter than before," said the singer, who stressed that the fitness regime is important for a singer like her.

It also helps that husband Louis Cheung is a fitness buff himself.

"He used to go to the gym alone. But now I have become his gym buddy. We would lift weights and go running together," she said.
