Katie Holmes gave us a master class in stylish winter dressing when she showed up to sit front row at Ulla Johnson's runway show this New York Fashion Week.

The actress—who recently made her Broadway return with The Wanderers—arrived at the fall 2023 show in a breezy black dress by the designer, slouchy black leather knee-high boots, and an olive green coat. The dress fell in uneven spikes at the skirt and featured white pearlescent buttons running across the bodice.

For glam, Holmes traded her usual no-makeup look for a bright pink lip tint, rosy cheeks, and jet-black mascara. The queen of the effortlessly cool kept her hair down in a messy yet chic 'do and opted for minimal accessories, carrying only a black leather pouch shoulder bag to complement her boots.

Holmes also attended Johnson's show last New York Fashion Week, styling a boho-inspired co-ord in warm reds, yellows, and purples with the same slouchy black leather heeled boots to sit front row.

The Dawson's Creek alum spoke to BAZAAR.com last year about her approach to fashion, saying that while she loves to dress up for a stylish event or red carpet, on the day to day, she's much more laid-back.

"I love my T-shirts, and I love my vintage T-shirts. They're so yummy," she said when asked which items in her closet she can't live without. "They're a little dirty, a little stained or whatever, and that's me."
