Katie Holmes Brings Back a 2000s-Era Hoodie in a Layered Coat, Acid-Wash Jeans & Flats

Katie Holmes brought back one of the 2000s’ most beloved hoodies for her fall-ready look in New York this week.

Making her way across Manhattan in an Evolvetogether face mask yesterday, the “Batman Begins” actress layered her go-to navy trench coat over acid-wash jeans and a graphic hooded sweatshirt from Gap. A favorite amongst celebrity style trends from decades past, similar colorways of her hoodie come with a retail price of $50 but can be found on sale for $40 at Gap.com.

Holmes recycled one of her most beloved shoes for the occasion, opting for an all-white set of oxford shoes. The already worn-in pair featured smooth monochromatic uppers with a contrasting brown outsole and block heel.

The actress previously chose the lace-up shoes for another outing in the city on Sept. 7. Holmes held tight to an oversize shopping bag as she walked in a The Who graphic t-shirt and dark-wash mom jeans for the occasion.

The star of “The Secret” movie oftentimes favors on-trend silhouettes that are just as stylish as her outfit of choice. The 41-year-old is known for her top-of-the-line style, matching her fall combo with everything from Veja sneakers to Common Projects kicks and flare-heel Dorateymur boots. As the weather heats up, though, you can find the actress in flowy dresses, more lightweight tops and a rotation of easy-going pieces like trending black “ugly” double-strap sandals.

Beyond off-duty style and impeccable footwear taste, Katie Holmes’ experience in the fashion industry earned her the title of an Olay brand ambassador; she also previously served as the face of Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, Miu Miu, Ann Taylor and more top brands throughout her successful career.
