Kathryn Bernardo launches nail salon, KathNails
29 May - Kathryn Bernardo is now officially a businesswoman, as she had just recently launched her nail salon, KathNails.
As reported on PEP News, the actress who appeared at the launch alongside her family, including mother Min Bernardo and onscreen partner Daniel Padilla, admitted that she didn't expect that they would be able to open the salon this year at first.
"But while we were filming "Can't Help Falling in Love", Mama said that she has found a good place," she said, adding that she is still surprised that the salon dream is now realised.
Bernardo revealed that she has been very hands-on with the project; designing the salon's interior, looking for suppliers for all the polish and choosing the colours, and making sure that everything is safe and clean.
"We want it to be a place for you to go and relax, but at the same time, make it affordable for everybody," she said.
When asked if she will be managing the business herself, Bernardo said that the salon is a gift from her to her mother Min.
"So more on Mama to be hands-on here. I will just come and do some check-ups from time to time," she said.
