Kate Middleton Visits Patients at The Royal Marsden Hospital in Chic Monochromatic Burgundy Set and Russell & Bromley Chocolate Brown Pumps
Kate Middleton is starting off the new year by giving back. The Princess of Wales paid a visit to The Royal Marsden Hospital in London, England on Jan. 14 where she spent time with patients and the staff members.
Her and her husband Prince William became Joint Patrons of The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust following a visit by Her Royal Highness to the hospital’s Chelsea site. The royals have a personal to the hospital after the Princess received treatment from The Royal Marsden during her cancer journey last year. The Royal Marsden opened its doors in 1851 as the world’s first hospital dedicated to cancer diagnosis, treatment, research and education.

For the visit, the princess kept her look classic topping her ensemble off with a Blaze Milano Anyway Checked Wool Coat in brown. Underneath, she rewore a look from last year. She paired a Kiltane Cashmere Polo turtleneck in bordeaux paired cohesively with an Edeline Lee ‘Plait’ Skirt in Burgundy.
To match with the coat, she put on a pair of suede Russell & Bromley Pinpoint Pumps in brown. While the particular style she wore is not currently available, the luxury footwear brand has similar styles in beige and black like their Eleanor Everyday Pump. She kept the rest of her accessories understated, wearing an Annoushka Eclipse Diamond Eternity Ring, Cartier Etincelle De Cartier Wedding Band, Wartski Welsh Gold Wedding Ring. She appeared to be wearing a matching Mini Mayfair croc embossed bag from Aspinal of London in a cherry color.
This marks the princess’ first public appearance in the new year after staying out of the spotlight for much of last year. She was diagnosed with cancer early in 2024, and has since shared that she completed treatment and is “cancer free” after undergoing chemotherapy.
