Kate Middleton Is Reportedly in Charge of Royal Easter and Organizing a Big Family Reunion

The royals are celebrating their first Easter without the Queen this year, and, according to royal expert Ingrid Seward, Kate Middleton is likely stepping up to the plate when it comes to the holiday.

Seward tells The Sun that the royals are planning a big family reunion, with literally everyone on the invite list including King Charles, Queen Camilla, and the Waleses (obvs), not to mention “The Chattos and children, Princess Anne and Tim Laurence, Zara and Mike Tindall and their children, Peter Phillips and his two girls, Sophie and Edward and their two children, Beatrice and Eugenie with their husbands and children."

"It is always the same group and has been for many years," Seward continues, adding that "Kate is a great organizer and will almost certainly organize an Easter egg hunt. They can also go to the royal mews and see the horses there and there is an indoor pool for swimming and ponies for them to ride."

As for the location, Easter activities will be held at Windsor Castle, or "Easter Court as it is known is always at Windsor and always has been. The royal gathering is not as large as it used to be and it has always revolved around the children and grandchildren. Breakfast on Easter Day is always decorated boiled eggs and tiny gifts are exchanged but nothing expensive maybe a painted box or bunny.”

Meanwhile, the family "will all have dinner together but not the young children they will eat in the nursery dining room. The Queen always said until they could hold a knife and fork properly they could not eat at the table, but Charles might have relaxed that rule a bit."

Since you're inevitably wondering, it's unclear if Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are invited to this event, but given that they live in California, chances are they aren't attending. However! The couple might show up for the King's coronation in May so stay tuned!
