Kate Middleton Looks Glamorous at Prince William's Charity Polo Match
Kate Middleton is Prince William's biggest fan! No really, the Duchess of Cambridge stepped out to cheer on her husband as he played in the Out-Sourcing Inc. Royal Charity Polo Cup 2022 at Guards Polo Club on Wednesday.
Standing on the sidelines in good spirits with a drink in hand, the stylish royal opted for an ivory dress with black striped detailing by Emilia Wickstead. She paired the look with tortoiseshell sunglasses by Finlay, brown hoop earrings, and two-tone nude and black slingback flats featuring an embellished buckle by Camilla Elphick.
Before changing into his polo gear, the Duke of Cambridge wore a light blue button down shirt with white trousers and navy sneakers by Onitsuka Tiger. He completed his summer-forward ensemble with a dark leather belt, watch, and royal-approved Ray-Ban shades.
During the outing, the couple was also joined by a very special (and adorable!) guest: their pup Orla. Kate and William brought home the cocker spaniel earlier this year after their first family dog, Lupo, passed away in 2020. The Cambridge's newest furry member was introduced to the public in one of Princess Charlotte's birthday portraits back in May.
The charity polo match William competed in helped raise awareness and funds for 10 charities supported by the Cambridges. He also took part in the same tournament last year, but Kate wasn't able to attend because she was isolating after a close exposure to coronavirus.
An avid enthusiast of the sport, William has previously competed in a series of charity polo matches alongside his brother, Prince Harry. Since moving to California, the Duke of Sussex has since joined a polo team and has played a number of games, while Meghan Markle cheered him on from the sidelines.
