Kara Hui sings in new movie, "Happiness"

28 Aug - Kara Hui wasn't just showing her acting prowess in her new movie, "Alzheimer", where she plays the role of a woman suffering from Alzheimer's disease. She also sang for the first time in the movie.

As reported on Oriental Daily, the actress, who spoke to the media about her experience performing the classic song "I Found Myself" as a lounge singer in the movie, stated that she was worried at first upon being told that she would have to sing in the movie.

"Before the shoot, I took great care of my vocal, and even went to a vocal coach, where I took ten lessons in order not to embarrass myself!" she said.

Although her performance received praises from the director, who even wanted to include it in the movie's soundtrack, Kara stated that it was still embarrassing for her.

"I've always had a hearing problem. Unlike many people, I can't hear certain frequency very clearly," she said.

When asked if she would release a record, Kara stated that she would only consider it if all of her viewers feel that she did well when the movie comes out.
