Kara Hui hopes for high-ratings for new TVB series

5 Apr – Hong Kong actress Kara Hui is praying for high ratings now that her comeback series with TVB is finally on air.

As reported on Mingpao, the award-winning actress, who attended the press conference of the new drama, "The Defected", stated that she is both nervous and stressed out about the drama's premiere, especially after watching the trailer.

"The trailer reveals great quality and action scenes worth watching. I really have high hopes for the ratings," she said, adding that she would like the drama to peak at 33 points in viewership.

In the new drama, Kara plays an ambitious Chief Superintendent who competes to become a police commissioner.

The drama would be her first TVB series in ten years since "No Regrets" (2010). It co-stars Ben Wong, Benz Hui, and Benjamin Yuen.
