Kamal Adli is smiling again a month after assault
18 Apr – A month after his last post on social media to update fans on his condition following the previous attack, Kamal Adli recently updated his Instagram with new photos from his birthday celebration.
On 16 April, the actor shared two photos of him with wife Uqasha Senrose, of whom he said to have surprised him with the cake while they were at the Absolut Bazar x Festival Gaya Raya 2023 at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) in Kuala Lumpur.
The caption, which is dedicated to his wife, read, "You are sweeter than candy. Thank you for taking care of me from the day of the incident until now, that I am able to smile again. I love you so so much."
He also thanked the fans for their well wishes, and apologised for not being able to reply to everybody's messages.
"I truly appreciate all of your prayers, even before, especially now after I was hit. Praise be to God, I am still breathing," he posted.
In the same post, Kamal admitted that he is still a little bit traumatised by the incident, which is why he has been keeping mum for the past month.
It was back on 12 March that the actor was attacked by a baton-wielding man while attending the Hari Raya Mega Sale trade show at the Singapore Expo. He later posted a photo of him in recovery, assuring everybody that he is in stable condition.
