Kajol is making her Netflix debut with Mumbai-set drama film

12 Oct – Bollywood star Kajol is all set to star in her first Netflix movie, alongside Mithila Palkar and Tanvi Azmi.
The movie, "Tribhanga", will focus on the three leading ladies' characters, all from the same dysfunctional family whose three generational-tale, from the 1980s to present day, is chronicled in the movie, according to Livemint.
Set in Mumbai, the movie will have "Bucket List" helmer Renuka Shahane directing it.
There are no further details on the character Kajol will be playing but it is known that her husband, Ajay Devgn, will be producing under his Ajay Devgn Ffilms banner. The movie will mark the production company's first digital venture and first collaboration with Netflix.
"There is no defined long-term partnership yet but we are in talks for other films, some of which of course we would want Ajay himself to star in too, though that is obviously a long way off," said Aashish Singh, who joined Netflix India as Director – Original Film in early July.
It might be a while before fans can catch Kajol and Ajay in a Netflix movie together but both can be seen on the big screen next year in "Taanaji: The Unsung Warrior".
