Kai Ko dismisses rumours of dating Edison Chen's ex
30 Jun – Taiwanese actor Kai Ko has recently laughed off rumours that he is dating model Ann Hong, the former girlfriend of actor-entrepreneur Edison Chen.
As reported on HK01, rumours of romance between the two sparked recently after sources claimed to have seen Kai out and about with Ann while he was on a vacation with his family to the United States.
It was also alleged that Ann was seen wherever Kai was during his time in Los Angeles, and that the two could already be living together.
When asked about the romance rumour, Kai couldn't help but laugh, saying that the whole thing was impossible.
"I was living with my parents and my brother. Coupled with the pandemic, I rarely go out. This is a boring rumour," he said, adding that he would rather not respond to news that have nothing to do with him.
Prior to that, the actor's manager stated that the company does not ask its artistes about their personal affairs and has no way to respond on behalf of Kai.
Ann first made the news in 2012 after she was revealed to have started dating Edison while working at his fashion store. The two broke up at the end of 2014, with Edison later began his relationship with Chinese supermodel Qin Shupei. They were married in 2017 and welcomed a daughter, Alaia, the same year.
