Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg spoke to NPR’s Nina Totenberg ahead of the RBG documentary debut at the Sundance Film Festival on Sunday. Among the topics they discussed was the growing #MeToo movement, which RBG believes has been a long time coming.

Per Deadline, Ginsburg said “I think it’s about time.” She continued, “for so long women were silent, thinking there was nothing you could about it, but now the law is on the side of women or men who encounter harassment, and that’s big thing.”

The 84-year-old Justice added “every woman of my vintage knows what sexual harassment is, although we didn't have a name for it.” She remembered an instance where her 1950s college professor gave her a practice exam ahead of class as a study aid, only to realize the “practice exam” was exactly the same as the eventual real one. "I knew exactly what he wanted in return," Ginsburg said. "And that's just one of many examples.” The SCOTUS vet confronted the professor by asking him "How dare you?"

According to CNN, Ginsburg also said she’s less concerned about growing backlash to the woman-fueled movement: “So far it’s been great. When I see women appearing everywhere in numbers I am less worried about that.”
