Ha Jung-woo denies illegal use of Propofol

20 Feb – Walk House Company, the agency that manages South Korean actor Ha Jung-woo, has recently denied allegations that the actor has used Propofol illegally.

As reported on Epoch Times, the management company released a statement in response to the claims, saying that Ha has been receiving skin treatments regularly due to the scars on his face, and was introduced to a doctor who offered him assistance with his condition.

The company stated that Ha received about nine to ten high-intensity laser surgeries between January and September 2019, and would be on anaesthesia while on treatment. The actor had since wrapped up treatment last fall.

As for why he uses his brother's name for the treatment instead of his own, the company stated that they decided to do so to protect his privacy.

Walk House Company also stated that they found no reason to disclose Ha's treatment to the public before, and will be cooperating with a police investigation if needed.

It was earlier this week that it was rumoured that a popular actor is illegally using Propofol for years through a well-known cosmetic surgery clinic. The police are currently investigating other similar cases.
