Jung Hae-In in talks to star in "Veteran 2"

6 Jul - It was revealed that Jung Hae-In is now in talks to star in the sequel to the hit 2015 movie, "Veteran".

As reported on JTBC, the news was confirmed by the actor's agency FNC Entertainment, saying that Jung has received an offer from the producers and is currently reviewing it.

If it comes to fruition, Jung will be playing a new character in the sequel - the successor of Jo Tae-Oh, the latter a character that was previously played by Yoo Ah-In.

On the other hand, Hwang Jung-Min will be reprising his role as Detective Seo Do-Cheol.

"Veteran 2" reportedly will begin production in the third quarter of 2022, to be helmed by director Ryu Seung-Wan.

The original film, which made USD 92 million at the box office, is an action-comedy that sees one detective trying to pursue a high-profile case involving a young millionaire.
