Julia Montes joins Coco Martin in "FPJ's Ang Probinsyano"
2 Aug – Fans of Coco-Julia love team may not need to wait so long for their next project to come about, as Dreamscape recently announced that Julia Montes will be joining Coco Martin in his long-running show, "FPJ's Ang Probinsyano".
Coco and Julia have been romantically linked for the longest time, but neither party has ever confirmed nor deny the rumours.
On 31 July, the studio took to Instagram to reveal the good news, writing, "The long-awaited comeback on television will happen as Julia Montes will be seen in FPJ's Ang Probinsyano as the new leading lady of Coco Martin in the sixth year of the longest-running action drama series in the country."
Speaking about her inclusion, Julia said that she is honoured to be offered to join the series, seeing that a show would not have been able to go on for six years if not for everyone putting their heart and soul into it.
"There is pressure, of course. That won't go away. Maybe the pressure comes from meeting the expectation of Coco and the team because everyone is really dedicated," she said.
Asked if she would prefer playing a villain or a good guy, Julia said that she is okay with any role.
"This is not the typical series where you entered and you know right away. It challenges you as an actor, what else can you give if you're given a scenario. So that's the exciting part," she enthused.
