The "Eat Bulaga" star tells why she decided to leave the show and move to Malaysia

29 Jan - It was quite a surprise to fans when Julia Clarete was revealed to have suddenly left her show "Eat Bulaga!", especially since she has been with the show for a decade.

According to PEP News, the 36-year-old, who recently returned to the Philippines for a one-night gig with her band, The Cult of JuliaRobert, at 12 Monkeys, revealed that she wanted to focus on her personal life that she wasn't able to do because of her previous busy schedule.

"[My boyfriend and I have been together for five years. We decided that maybe we can move on... something that what we have," she said.

Clarete, who is moving to Malaysia, stated that she will be living with her long-time boyfriend in the country.

She also denied several rumours pertaining to her sudden departure - mainly that she left because of pregnancy, and that she was the third party in Ciara Sotto's marriage. The latter was dismissed by Sotto herself.
