Julia Barretto returns with a new TV series
8 Sep – After a 3-year hiatus, Julia Barretto is soon to return to primetime in a TV5 new series.
The actress, who was last seen on TV in the 2018 series, "Ngayon at Kailanman" will be playing the lead in TVB's "'Di Na Muli" as Yana, a woman who is able to know the lifespan of another person once she touches their hand.
"The story is very different. There are a lot of elements in the show that are different from what I've previously done. It's exciting and challenging," said the actress.
Julia stated that she has never portrayed such a character before, where she has a gift.
"My character is someone who has grown scared of getting close to other people and touching her loved ones because she doesn't want to know when their life ends," she added.
The series also marks her first since leaving Star Magic and signing with Viva Artists Agency last year.
