Julia Barretto and Joshua Garcia to reunite for new movie
20 May – It looks like the JoshLia love team may be making a comeback soon.
Julia Barretto recently revealed in an interview with talk show host Boy Abunda that she will be reuniting with Joshua Garcia, three years after their last project together.
"I want to do films [this year]. I am going to be doing a movie also with Josh under Black Sheep this year," she said.
In the same interview, Julia said that she appreciates Joshua for being respectful of her current boyfriend Gerald Anderson.
"That says a lot about Josh as well and how much he's grown and matured. He respects Ge and that means a lot to me," she said.
Julia and Joshua first became a love team after working together in the 2016 movie, "Vince and Kath and James". The two went on to collaborate in various projects soon after, including the teleserye "Ngayon at Kailanman" and movie "Love You To The Stars and Back". Their last project together was the zombie thriller, "Block Z" and the two ended their love team amid rumours of Julia's romance with Gerald Anderson.
Back in February 2021, the two were reunited in the music video for Moira dela Torre's song, "Paubaya".
